Steamtrain field - is finally repaired

After: field filled in & lined
Before: tire marks

After: dirt fill, but loose
Before: tire tracks cut in field

As you'll see from the before and after photos, the field has been repaired but is still a bit of a mess.

Players will need to be aware of the uneven surfaces, particularly on the side of the field closest to the parking lot.

We are due to play first home game this Sunday at 1:00pm

4/14 Game vs Madison

Thanks for your flexibility in time change and field change for the game vs Madison. To reiterate what I sent in email, see the clarification on the Red Card during Sunday's game.

The rules state that any player ‘handling’ the ball to block a goal are automatically issued a Red Card and are also fined (as noted below).

The league takes these matters seriously and while some referees will provide some latitude in calls on the field, a handball in the box to deny a goal is a flagrant foul.
During Halftime, the Ref did explain further to the kids, but wanted to be sure you had some info. The result:

-$75-100 fine and penalty points assessed to player & team
-one game suspension
-automatic removal from the game
